- Do not use if you have an implanted defibrillator, cardiac pacemaker, or any other metallic or electronic medical device implanted in your body. This device is also contraindicated for individuals with heart rhythm disorders, heart conditions, or those who have experienced a recent heart attack. Avoid use if you have epilepsy, neurological diseases, or any brain disorders.
- Do not use if you suffer from uncontrolled high blood pressure, thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis, bleeding disorders, or other vascular conditions. Do not apply the device over areas with poor circulation.
- This device should not be used if you have undiagnosed chronic pain, a recent acute injury, or if you are pregnant (especially in the first trimester) or in labor. Do not use if you have, or suspect you may have, cancer (especially near tumor sites), or if you have a fever.
- Individuals who are sensitive to electrotherapy or have skin allergies should not use this device. Do not apply to broken, infected, irritated, or otherwise compromised skin. Never use over the eyes, mouth, or throat, nor on the head, front of the neck (carotid sinus area), or chest (heart region).
- Do not use if you have diabetes associated with peripheral neuropathy.
